About Me

I have been a PGA member since 1989.  I have been a Club Professional at clubs in Ohio, Florida, New York and here in Charlotte at notable clubs such as Oak Hill CC, The Breakers and Myers Park CC.  Over the past 20 years I have focused my career in golf instruction. I have served as a Golf Coach at Wingate University, Trinity Prep and both Piedmont and Marvin Ridge middle schools.  I have taught over 5000 students from PGA pros to 3 year old beginners.  I have had multiple "Teacher of Year" nominations from the Caroinas Section of the PGA, served on the President's Council of the  PGA and was on the Ben Hogan Professional Staff. Participated in numerous Carolina's PGA section events.

I am married to my wife Sheryl and have 3 children, David Jr., Megan and Emily and 5 grandchildren.
